Free n8n Templates: Salla, Zid, Paymob + WhatsApp
We open-sourced the six automations we get asked for most. Import the JSON into your own n8n, add your WhatsApp Cloud API token, and they run entirely on your side.

What is in the repository
The repository at https://github.com/marwanayman128/nano-n8n-templates contains six n8n workflow files, a setup guide for each one in English and Arabic, and an MIT licence. Every workflow sends its customer-facing messages in Arabic through the WhatsApp Cloud API and connects to the platforms merchants in the Gulf and Egypt actually use: Salla, Zid, Paymob, Moyasar and Tabby links, Google Sheets and Google Calendar. They use only built-in n8n nodes, so nothing extra needs installing.
Salla abandoned cart → WhatsApp
Salla webhook, 45-minute wait, check the customer has not ordered, then a WhatsApp utility template with the cart link.
Zid order status → WhatsApp
Maps each Zid order status to an Arabic message and sends it as text inside the 24-hour window or as a template outside it.
Paymob payment link → WhatsApp
Takes an amount and a phone number, creates a Paymob payment link, sends it on WhatsApp and logs the request to Google Sheets.
Cash-on-delivery confirmation
New COD order → WhatsApp buttons (confirm, pay online via a Moyasar or Tabby link, cancel) → reply webhook → sheet and staff alert.
Clinic appointment reminders
Hourly schedule reads tomorrow's Google Calendar appointments and sends each patient an Arabic reminder template.
WhatsApp lead → Sheet + alert
Handles Meta webhook verification, extracts name, phone and message from inbound WhatsApp, appends to Google Sheets and alerts staff.
How to import and run a template
Download the JSON file you want, open n8n, choose Workflows, then Import from file. Open the Config node and replace the placeholders: your WhatsApp phone number ID, the Google Sheet ID, template names and the staff number. Create one Header Auth credential with your permanent WhatsApp access token and select it on every node that calls graph.facebook.com. Run the workflow once with Test workflow, then activate it and point the external service at the production webhook URL.
Two WhatsApp rules matter. Message templates must be approved in Meta Business Manager before they send; the template names in the workflows are suggestions, so create yours as Arabic utility templates and update the Config node. Free-form text and interactive buttons only deliver inside the 24-hour customer-service window, so the Zid and COD workflows include both a text mode and a template mode.
Your data stays in your n8n
The workflows run entirely inside your own n8n instance, self-hosted or n8n Cloud. Customer names, phone numbers and orders travel only between your n8n and the services you connect yourself. Nothing is sent to Nano AI, there is no telemetry, and every URL is visible in plain text in the JSON, so you can review it before importing.
When a template is not enough
A template answers one event with one message. It does not understand a customer who replies in Najdi asking whether the oud oil is original, it cannot browse your catalogue, and nobody watches it after launch. That is the line between an automation and an AI agent. If you want the agent built, connected to your store and phone line, tested against dialect golden sets and run for you with a monthly report, that is what our WhatsApp and voice services do, from $199 per month.
