Free Website Accessibility Scanner

Paste a URL below and we'll run a real automated scan — the same axe-core engine used industry-wide — and show you the top violations, which WCAG success criterion each one breaks, and how many elements are affected.

How this scan works — and what it can't tell you

This tool loads your page in a real headless Chromium browser and runs axe-core, the industry-standard open-source accessibility testing engine, against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA ruleset plus the WCAG 2.2 AA additions. Violations are grouped by severity (critical, serious, moderate, minor) and we show you the top 5 by severity and number of affected elements, each with the WCAG success criterion it relates to, a plain-English explanation of the problem, and how many elements on the page are affected.

Automated tools catch only 30–40% of accessibility barriers. A clean scan is not EAA compliance. Automated testing cannot evaluate things like whether alt text is actually meaningful, whether a keyboard-only user can complete your checkout flow, whether your reading order makes sense to a screen reader, or whether color is the only way you're conveying critical information. A genuine WCAG/EAA compliance assessment requires manual testing with assistive technology and, ideally, testing with real disabled users — this scanner is a fast first pass, not a substitute for that.

Scans are limited to 3 per IP address per day, and only public http(s) pages can be scanned (internal/private network addresses are blocked). Very large or slow-loading pages may time out — if that happens, try a lighter page or request a full manual audit from our team instead.

Need more than a 30-second scan?

Our accessibility audits combine automated scanning with manual testing and assistive-technology review, so you get a real picture of EAA/WCAG compliance risk — not just what a bot can see.
