AI Lead Qualification

AI lead qualification uses a conversational agent on WhatsApp, a call or web chat to ask each new prospect a few structured questions, typically budget, authority, need and timeline (BANT), then scores the lead and routes qualified ones to a salesperson with a summary.

BANT is the classic frame: Budget (can they afford it), Authority (are they the decision-maker), Need (is there a real problem we solve), Timeline (when do they intend to act). Sales teams have asked these questions for decades; the change is that an AI agent can now ask them naturally, in the prospect's dialect, the moment the lead arrives, and record the answers as structured fields instead of a note nobody reads. Many teams adapt the frame: real estate adds area, property type and financing; clinics ask about symptoms and insurance; B2B adds company size and current tools.

The value is in what happens next. Qualified leads reach a human within minutes with the answers already in the CRM (HubSpot, Zoho or the brokerage's own system); unqualified ones get a helpful reply and a nurture sequence instead of consuming a salesperson's afternoon; ambiguous ones are flagged for a human call. The agent should never pretend to be a person, should stop asking when the prospect pushes back, and should hand off immediately when the prospect asks to speak to someone.

What to specify with a vendor: the question set and the order (fewer is better; three well-chosen questions beat eight), the scoring rules and who can change them, how the score is written to the CRM, and what the salesperson sees at handoff. Nano AI builds qualification into WhatsApp agents, voice agents and the managed AI SDR pipeline; the scripts are tested against golden sets in the client's dialect mix so that a Kuwaiti prospect answering 'يعني حسب' is understood as 'it depends', not as a refusal.
